In my opinion, there is nothing better than Sunday brunch. It is the only day where it is acceptable to sleep in and still eat breakfast at noon. Today we headed to Lou Roc's and while its usually hard for me to pass up the veggie omelet here, I definitely had a sweet tooth. I chose to have the coconut almond french toast with strawberries and whipped cream on top. While it is on their list of specials, I believe you can order it almost every weekend.
I can't even describe how good this french toast is. They give you a huge mound of strawberries and whipped cream on top of
four enormous slices of french toast crusted with shredded coconut and
chopped almonds. It's almost like eating dessert. Not only does it smell like you just stepped into a donut shop, but it looks so darn pretty!! They gave me so much I even got to take half home and enjoy it again later! I definitely will be going back soon to get this again.

ReplyDeleteomg we went to lou rocs the day before you! and I usually get an omlette but decided to get the blueberry french toast--this is weirdly coincidental. obviously we need to hang out more. and yes i follow your blog now lol
